International Shipping

Yes, we ship to Australia! We use DHL Express, which should take 1-3 business days depending on your shipping address. Our checkout will automatically determine your shipping cost.

Outside of Australia? Contact us and we can organise.

You can find more information about shipping on our FAQs page.

How long will it take for my order to arrive after I make payment?

That depends on where you live and whether we have an item in stock or not. While we do have many items in stock, we don't carry everything. (For example, we do not stock most housings or ports as there are just too many!) If you need an item in a hurry, it's a good idea to contact us and find out if your item is in stock, or if we can get it in a hurry - we often can!

If we have it in stock, we can usually send it out as soon as we receive payment (1-3 business days), or you can pick it up. If an item is not in stock, we'll need to order it from our suppliers, which means it can take 1-2 weeks to arrive at your door (usually closer to a week).

Sometimes delivery can take longer, if our manufacturers are out of stock, for example, but this is unusual - we let customers know as soon as possible if something like this happens.

How do you ship my NZ orders?

We use New Zealand Post Courier to ship orders. New Zealand Post aims for next-day delivery nationwide between major towns and cities in the North Island. South Island delivery can take two days. If you require next-day delivery in South Island, choose the express shipping option for the South Island. If you spend over $250 get your shipping for free!

Add this to your cart alongside your Ikelite 200DL housing to add on the M24 Port Modification to your housing. Only 200DL housings applicable - not DLM or compact housings.

Note: Upgrade After Purchase is also available at a slightly higher price. Please contact us to arrange this.

Upgrade your housing at time of purchase

This is a special order item, please allow at least 3-4 weeks. Due to high demand, we are not able to complete rush requests at this time.

The port is conveniently located on the left side of the housing just behind the handles to keep the large diameter cords out of the way of your hands and face while shooting.

Adding a Monitor

The M24 port accepts the Nauticam M24 Adapter for HDMI 2.0 Cable SKU # 25086 for use with a compatible cabling. Cabling, monitor, and monitor housing are not supported by or sold by Ikelite.

Due to the size and weight of external monitor housings, is not recommended to mount a monitor directly to the housing using the central top mount.

A reticulating ball arm system is the best way to mount an external monitor. This allows the monitor housing to be moved in all directions - up, down, left, right, and rotationally - quickly and easily. The ball clamps can be loosened slightly underwater to allow one-handed repositioning of the monitor when changing shooting positions or to provide access to the rear housing controls.

For example, the monitor can sit above the housing when shooting a subject below you or directly behind the housing when framing macro. This avoids the awkwardness of re-learning how to aim your lens because your image is no longer in line with it.

This requires the Ball Arm for HDMI Monitors # 4080.12 or similar set up.

The Ball Arm is mounted to the housing using:

  • ( Quantity 2 ) Standard Ball Clamps if shooting without lights
  • OR Triple Ball Clamps if shooting with lights
  • ( Quantity 2 ) Ball at Quick Release Mount # 4081.31
  • Right-Hand Quick Release Handle # 40780 (previously 4077.02)
  • ( Quantity 2 ) Trigger Extensions # 4077.95 * (come with 40780)

Housings below serial # 73600 require Trigger Extension # 4077.93.

A 3-point ball arm is the most ergonomic and versatile way to mount an HDMI monitor to your housing. The ball clamps can be loosened slightly underwater to allow one-handed repositioning of the whole monitor set-up when changing shooting positions or to provide uninhibited access to the rear housing controls. A top Cable Grip or lanyard is essential for carrying any system around on the surface in-between dives.

It can be challenging to shoot with the monitor positioned above your housing, since your line of sight is no longer in line with the camera's lens. But it can be beneficial if your subject is lower than you, or when you need unobstructed access to the back of the camera housing.
