Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Sea Tech. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.
Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.

While the Consumer Guarantee Act and Fair Trading Act provide the basis for Sea Tech, we want to go above and beyond the expectation of these two statutory laws.
If you're located in New Zealand and you purchased your item from Sea Tech, the below warranties information applies to your items. In the first instance, please contact us and we can help you out.
If you are outside of New Zealand, and/or did not purchase your item from Sea Tech, click on the appropriate link below to be taken directly to the manufacturer's website. In most instances, contact the retailer you purchased from directly.
One-Year Limited warranty from date of purchase set forth by Bossk International – Manufacturer of the Bigblue Dive Lights line of products and accessories. Batteries are covered for 6 months from date of purchase. Products being returned can be refunded, repaired or replaced at the manufacturer’s discretion.
Beginning in September 2018, all Ikelite housings are warranted against any original defects in materials or manufacturing for a period of TWO (2) years from the original date of purchase.
Ikelite do not require an original purchase receipt to obtain service or warranty coverage. If a purchase receipt is not provided, the warranty period will be determined based on the production date of the housing.
Limited one year warranty in New Zealand.

Limited two-year warranty. Fill out and return warranty card within 14 days of purchase.
The warranty is limited to material defects which occur when correctly handling the product. The warranty does not cover the battery. KELDAN® warranty coverage is void for defects as a result of improper use.
Limited Lifetime Warranty [disclaimer]
All Nauticam Housing Products and Viewfinders are warranted against any material and manufacturing defects for two years from the date of purchase for consumer use. (Extended to three if purchased during the pandemic - contact us if you're not sure.)
Nauticam Optical Accessories are warranted against material and manufacturing defects for a period of one year, and SDI/HDMI cables carry a four month warranty.
Carbon Fiber Float Arms: Limited Lifetime Warranty.
These warranties only apply to products purchased from authorized Nauticam dealers or through Nauticam.com and does not extend beyond the original retail purchaser (is not transferrable).
Unauthorized modifications and/or repairs of our products will invalidate the warranty.
The Nautilus GPS comes with a limited warranty. The GPS limited warranty covers the correction of manufacturing defects and resulting damage only and is valid for 1 year from the date you purchase your unit.
Does not cover physical misuse or abuse of your unit, including tampering by unauthorized persons or repair facilities, flooding as a result of customer misuse/neglect or improper care and maintenance, damage or flooding if the unit is submerged without the lid being properly latched or if the o-ring is not clean and clear of contamination.
Important: this warranty is only available to the original owner on units bought from an authorized dealer at minimum advertised price (map).
This warranty does not apply to a unit that has been: Improperly used, or damaged, or has failed because of an accident or abnormal operation modification or repairs by unauthorised parties.
SEA&SEA agrees, at its option, to either repair or replace the unit with same or similar available product within One (1) year from date of original purchase. Does not cover finishes or batteries, nor does it cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, dirt, water, battery leakage, tampering, servicing performed or attempted by unauthorized service agencies or persons.

Ultralight Control Systems Inc. products are built with pride and should be free from defects in materials and workmanship. We stand behind all our products for life to the original purchaser with proof of purchase. This warranty is void if the part has not been used as intended. In some cases, we will ask for pictures in advance and if needed, the part for evaluation. If this happens, we will cover shipping costs both ways.
