With M52 Mount

The Olympus ToughTG-5 and TG-6 compact cameras have earned the right to be called tough. They are designed to withstand harsh conditions and everyday mishaps. The lens has even been sealed with double-pane glass to prevent fogging and condensation. Olympus didn't sacrifice image quality to build a robust camera. A tough camera deserves an even tougher housing.  The NA-TG5 housing supports both the TG-5 and TG-6 cameras. The cameras are rated to be waterproof down to 15m/50ft without a housing, but with the Nauticam NA-TG5 housing, they are capable of producing images all the way down to a whopping 100m or 330 feet!

Introducing NA-TG5

Olympus Tough TG-5/TG-6

The TG-5 and TG-6  share a 12MP BSI CMOS Sensor with excellent low light performance and a TruePic VIII processor. That is the same processor found in the Olympus OM-D E-M1 II and allows the camera to shoot up to 20fps.

Video features include 4K 30p and FHD 120fps high speed video and Manual Focus with Focus Peaking. The unique microscope mode gives the TG-5 the highest macro reproduction ratio of any camera currently on the market.  The TG-6 has a specific underwater macro and microscope modes as well as white balance options that correspond to various depth ranges.

The NA-TG-5 Housing

The NA-TG5 brings legendary Nauticam durability and ergonomics to the Olympus TG-5 and TG-6. The milled aluminum housing incorporates features pioneered in the SLR, mirrorless and digital cinema lines. All of the camera controls are clearly labeled, and the video record button is easily identified by shape and color.

The proven rotary locking latch makes closing the housing simple and secure. The integrated thumb grip and sculpted shutter button make handling the housing intuitive and comfortable.

The NA-TG5 comes with handle brackets and a shutter release extension for users that wish to use the optional handles and trays.

Other housing features include 2 fiber optic ports, easy access zoom lever, a 52mm threaded mount for auxiliary lenses, scratch resistant rear window, M10 threaded hole and cold shoe attachment point.

TG-6 Underwater-specific Modes

The TG-6's underwater modes have received a lot of attention from Olympus.  There are now underwater-specific macro (think small fish) and microscope modes.  There are also now depth-range specific white balances for wide angle.  Underwater shallow, mid-range and deep correspond to 0-10' for shallow, 10-50' for mid-range and 50'+ for deep.

CMC-1 Compatibility

When using the TG-5 outside of microscope mode, exceptional macro images can still be achieved using the Nauticam CMC-1 magnifying optic which can be used between 28-77mm equivalent focal lengths.

Features

Housing Locking Latch

The secure single rotating housing latch opens the housing back allowing for quick and easy battery or media changes.

Drop In Design

The TG-5, TG-6 drop right into the NA-TG5 housing with no tray or buttons/levers to preset while ensuring proper alignment regardless of depth.

M52 Threaded Port

The NA-TG5 features an M52 threaded port allowing the attachment of accessory optics with the use of the Nauticam M52 to M67 adapter.

Ring Diffuser

Take full advantage of the TG-5 and TG-6's microscope mode with this ring-flash style diffuser. This diffuser attaches to the integrated fiber optic ports and creates a ring-flash effect, great for close-in macro shooting.

International Shipping

At the moment, our website is only set up to ship within New Zealand. If you live outside New Zealand, please contact us and tell us your full shipping address and what you want to purchase. Please note that our free shipping offer applies to NZ shipping only. Our preferred method of shipping internationally is DHL.

How long will it take for my order to arrive after I make payment?

That depends on where you live and whether we have an item in stock or not. While we do have many items in stock, we don't carry everything. If you need an item in a hurry, it's a good idea to contact us and find out if your item is in stock.

If we have it in stock, we can usually send it out as soon as we receive payment, or you can pick it up. If an item is not in stock, we'll need to order it from our suppliers, which means it can take 1-2 weeks to arrive at your door (usually closer to a week).

Sometimes delivery can take longer, if our manufacturers are out of stock, for example, but this is unusual - we let customers know as soon as possible if something like this happens.

How do you ship my NZ orders?

We use New Zealand Post and CourierPost to ship orders. Our default is courier, though you may organise an alternative with us by contacting us directly. CourierPost aims for next day delivery nationwide between major towns and cities in the North Island. South Island delivery can take two days. If you require next-day delivery in South Island, choose the express shipping option for the South Island. If you spend over $250 get your shipping for free!

When you buy something from us, the price is literally exactly what it says on the tin.

If you buy something from an overseas supplier, that is most definitely not the case. While the product might seem like a great deal on screen, it's important to understand customs and import costs.

In addition to the ticket price on an overseas purchase, whatever the exchange rate is on the day (this can fluctuate wildly - trust us, we know), there are also tariffs, GST and border processing fees. This can easily add upwards of 25% to the ticket price. Items costing over NZ$1000 also incur import entry transaction fees.

In addition to these extra costs, Customs clearance can also cause delays. Sea Tech has been importing for years - we've got this down to a fine art, and we've built relationships with customs that help our items clear quickly.

By buying from Sea Tech, you avoid all the headaches, delays and extra costs. We handle all this stuff for you, so you don't even have to think about it.
