The perfect solution when you white balance your camera to the ambient light. The KELDAN Ambient Light Filter is available for the 18X and 24X lights and converts the light into the same spectrum as the ambient light in order to avoid mixed light conditions. KELDAN Ambient Light Filter are available in three different grades, each one optimised for a specific depth range.

The Ambient Light Filters fits with the 18X and 24X Lights and convert the white light to the same spectrum as the ambient light. Depending on depth, the appropriate filter can be chosen. With this technique, mixed lighting conditions can be avoided and the lighting will be very natural.

Great when used in combination with Keldan Spectrum Filters.

Ambient Light Filter S1

Product no. 1119

The Ambient Light Filter S1 converts the white video light to blue ambient light corresponding to a water depth of about 5 metres. The filter fits with the Video 4X and 8X series lights and is recommended for a depth range between 5-10 metres. 

Ambient Light Filter M1

The Ambient Light Filter M1 converts the white video light to blue ambient light corresponding to a water depth of about 10 metres. The filter fits with the Video 4X and 8X series lights and is recommended for a depth range between 10-20 metres. 

Ambient Light Filter D1

The Ambient Light Filter D1 converts the white video light to blue ambient light corresponding to a water depth of 20 metres. The filter fits with the Video 4X and 8X series lights and is recommended for a depth range around 20 metres or deeper.

How long will it take for my order to arrive after I make payment?

That depends on where you live and whether we have an item in stock or not. While we do have many items in stock, we don't carry everything. If you need an item in a hurry, it's a good idea to contact us and find out if your item is in stock.

If it is, we can usually send it out as soon as we receive payment. If an item is not in stock, we'll need to order it from our suppliers, which means it can take 1-2 weeks to arrive at your door (usually closer to a week).

Sometimes delivery can take longer, if our manufacturers are out of stock, for example, but this is unusual - we let customers know as soon as possible if something like this happens.

How do you ship my orders?

We use New Zealand Post and CourierPost to ship orders. Our default is courier, though you may organise an alternative with us by contacting us directly. CourierPost aims for next day delivery nationwide between major towns and cities in the North Island. South Island delivery can take two days. If you require next-day delivery in South Island, choose the express shipping option for the South Island. If you spend over $250 get your shipping for free!
