Inon LF3100-EW Flashlight

Max. 3100 lumen 12 Power Setting
Powerful Underwater Light for Wide Imaging

Maximum 3100 lumen and 12 steps power setting controlled by user-friendly rotary switches. An optically designed dome lens delivers super wide 100 degree coverage underwater supporting capturing wide scene. The torch runs on 6 x AA batteries stored in a cylindrical cartridge making overhaul size compact. Powerful lighting source supports you as a handheld light or as serious lighting device for photography/videography.

The rotary switch on the back end of the unit controls ON/OFF and power setting over between[FULL]/[LOW]. The "Selector Ring LF" (red ring switch) on the light head provides each 6 steps power setting for FULL and LOW making 12 steps power setting in total.

The maximum power is 3100 lumen at level 6 of FULL mode. The LOW mode is about -1.5EV of the FULL mode. Each click of the "Selector Ring LF" provides about 1.0EV increments (FULL) or about 0.9EV (LOW). The rotary switch is equipped with a lock ring to prevent accidental activation of the light.

Underwater coverage is super wide 100 degree thanks to the optically designed dome lens which effectively widen LED beam without sacrificing native brightness from LED modules. Using optical dome lens provides ideal light distribution for video shooters with its seamless gradation and less spotting on the center.

Ideal lighting device for aiming or macro imaging thanks to carefully selected white LED chip producing quality light with enhanced color reproducibility and color temperature 5000K.

Operated by easily obtainable 6x AA batteries. Using compatible rechargeable batteries like "eneloop" or "eneloop pro" enables you to share same battery charger with an INON strobe to enhance mobility and minimize your luggage space. The rated practical burn time (*) with "eneloop pro" (BK-3HCD) rechargeable batteries, is approx. 45 minutes at level 6 of FULL mode (max. power setting) or approx. 3,185 minutes (53 hrs 05 min) at level 1 of LOW mode (minimum power setting).

(*) Average time to get half brightness comparing to initial performance when using "eneloop pro" batteries (Model code: BK-3HCD).

Packaged "Light Shade LF-EW" is equipped with rotatable partial shade to be attached in front of the light head to suppress flare/ghost by cutting a part of the light not to illuminate vicinity of camera lens.

"Dome Red Filter LF-W" is packaged to change color tone not to stimulate shy marine lives.

Wide range of optional accessories is available to install on a camera or camcorder.

The light head and battery box is made from seawater-resistant aluminum alloy. Simple yet durable construction with double O-ring for moving parts supports depth rating 120m. The independent rotary switch part is equipped with a stopper to prevent accidental flooding due to over loosening.

Gold coating on electrical contacts of the light head and battery box provides maintenance free circumstances under normal usage.

Interchangeable Light Head design enables you to use "LF2700-W", "LF1400-S" Light Head benefiting for various applications and supports possible upgrade to future model as well.

How long will it take for my order to arrive after I make payment?

That depends on where you live and whether we have an item in stock or not. While we do have many items in stock, we don't carry everything. If you need an item in a hurry, it's a good idea to contact us and find out if your item is in stock.

If we have it in stock, we can usually send it out as soon as we receive payment, or you can pick it up. If an item is not in stock, we'll need to order it from our suppliers, which means it can take 1-2 weeks to arrive at your door (usually closer to a week).

Sometimes delivery can take longer, if our manufacturers are out of stock, for example, but this is unusual - we let customers know as soon as possible if something like this happens.

Update 18/12/2020: There are some production delays at present that may increase wait times on items like housings. We apologise for the inconvenience. If there are any delays with your order, we will communicate this immediately.

How do you ship my orders?

We use New Zealand Post and CourierPost to ship orders. Our default is courier, though you may organise an alternative with us by contacting us directly. CourierPost aims for next day delivery nationwide between major towns and cities in the North Island. South Island delivery can take two days. If you require next-day delivery in South Island, choose the express shipping option for the South Island. If you spend over $250 get your shipping for free!

Covid-19

We hope you, your families and friends are safe and healthy during the current Covid-19 situation.

We wish to assure you, that when we begin fulfilling orders on 28 April, we will be following the government health guidelines surrounding safe operating procedures. Hygiene basics such as hand washing, coughing/sneezing protocols as well as the wearing of appropriate protective equipment such as face masks.

We are continuing to follow the regular updates to government health guidelines and initiatives regarding Covid-19.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to discuss any aspect of our delivery service via Courier Post New Zealand.

We wish you all the best during these challenging times.

When you buy something from us, the price is literally exactly what it says on the tin.

If you buy something from an overseas supplier, that is most definitely not the case. While the product might seem like a great deal on screen, it's important to understand customs and import costs.

In addition to the ticket price on an overseas purchase, whatever the exchange rate is on the day (this can fluctuate wildly - trust us, we know), there are also tariffs, GST and border processing fees. This can easily add upwards of 25% to the ticket price. Items costing over NZ$1000 also incur import entry transaction fees.

In addition to these extra costs, Customs clearance can also cause delays. Sea Tech has been importing for years - we've got this down to a fine art, and we've built relationships with customs that help our items clear quickly.

By buying from Sea Tech, you avoid all the headaches, delays and extra costs. We handle all this stuff for you, so you don't even have to think about it.
