Ikelite W-20 Wide-Angle 46mm Lens

*Note: The W-20 lens was made for cameras with a lens up to 35mm wide. Most modern cameras have lenses as wide as 24mm or 25mm. The W-20 will not work with these wider angle lens cameras because the W-20 will vignette.

Shoot larger

A wide angle lens is absolutely essential for shooting the big stuff like wrecks and whale sharks. Fit more of your subject into the frame for a photo with the same impact as the real thing!

The two photos below were taken at exactly the same distance. The photo on the left was taken with the camera in its widest angle setting. The photo on the right was taken with wide angle lens attached. The difference is clear!

Shoot smaller

It seems counterintuitive, but a wide angle lens can really make your macro shots pop. In many situations, the addition of an external wide angle lens can both improve the sharpness of your macro photo and expand the backdrop for more dramatic composition.

Get closer

biggest obstacle to good underwater photography is, oddly, the water. Water absorbs light and steals the color and clarity from your photo. Use a wide angle lens to get closer to your subject and get some of that water out of your underwater photos.

The Ikelite W-20 is a completely waterproof unit and can be removed and replaced while underwater for maximum versatility. Available with either 46mm or 67mm threads for easy attachment to almost any digital still or video housing. To check compatibility with Ikelite housings, please refer to the housing instruction manual or webpage.

International Shipping

At the moment, our website is only set up to ship within New Zealand. If you live outside New Zealand, please contact us and tell us your full shipping address, phone number, and what you want to purchase. Please note that our free shipping offer applies to NZ shipping only. Our preferred method of shipping internationally is DHL.

How long will it take for my order to arrive after I make payment?

That depends on where you live and whether we have an item in stock or not. While we do have many items in stock, we don't carry everything. If you need an item in a hurry, it's a good idea to contact us and find out if your item is in stock.

If we have it in stock, we can usually send it out as soon as we receive payment, or you can pick it up. If an item is not in stock, we'll need to order it from our suppliers, which means it can take 1-2 weeks to arrive at your door (usually closer to a week).

Sometimes delivery can take longer, if our manufacturers are out of stock, for example, but this is unusual - we let customers know as soon as possible if something like this happens.

How do you ship my NZ orders?

We use New Zealand Post Courier to ship orders. You may organise an alternative with us by contacting us directly. New Zealand Post aims for next-day delivery nationwide between major towns and cities in the North Island. South Island delivery can take two days. If you require next-day delivery in South Island, choose the express shipping option for the South Island. If you spend over $250 get your shipping for free!
