This is a MOD (manufacture on demand) item. This item is non-returnable, non-refundable, non-cancellable, and may be subject to extended lead times as it is manufactured on demand.  We always do our best to meet trip deadlines so please advise us if you have a trip coming up!

This optional housing back replaces the Standard Back of the Nauticam Weapon LT housing and allows for the use of the REDTOUCH 4.7" Monitor inside the camera housing. A separate housing for the REDTOUCH 4.7" Monitor is also available. This Monitor Back option allows for a more streamlined configuration which can be advantageous for freedive, wreck, cave or DPV work.

As opposed to the Standard Back configuration that allows for two stacked batteries, the Monitor Back option will allow for the use of only a single battery due to space constraints. As there are no physical changes necessary to the camera housing to use this option, it is possible to easily switch between configurations of Standard Back with external monitor or Monitor Back.

For connection of the REDTOUCH 4.7 monitor to the DSMC2 brain, we recommend the Wooden Camera RED Male Pogo to Female Pogo LCD/EVF Cable (24" RED DSMC2), part number 221200.

Nauticam RED housings are the smallest, lightest, and easiest to operate underwater housing for RED Cameras available. On location, the usability of this system is unmatched. Set up and tear down in minutes, easily swap batteries and recording media while the camera is mounted in the housing, and lens changes in seconds.

International Shipping

At the moment, our website is only set up to ship within New Zealand. If you live outside New Zealand, please contact us and tell us your full shipping address, phone number, and what you want to purchase. Please note that our free shipping offer applies to NZ shipping only. Our preferred method of shipping internationally is DHL.

How long will it take for my order to arrive after I make payment?

That depends on where you live and whether we have an item in stock or not. While we do have many items in stock, we don't carry everything. If you need an item in a hurry, it's a good idea to contact us and find out if your item is in stock.

If we have it in stock, we can usually send it out as soon as we receive payment, or you can pick it up. If an item is not in stock, we'll need to order it from our suppliers, which means it can take 1-2 weeks to arrive at your door (usually closer to a week).

Sometimes delivery can take longer, if our manufacturers are out of stock, for example, but this is unusual - we let customers know as soon as possible if something like this happens.

How do you ship my NZ orders?

We use New Zealand Post Courier to ship orders. You may organise an alternative with us by contacting us directly. New Zealand Post aims for next-day delivery nationwide between major towns and cities in the North Island. South Island delivery can take two days. If you require next-day delivery in South Island, choose the express shipping option for the South Island. If you spend over $250 get your shipping for free!
